The blogger known as the ‘Music Slut’ spoke with John Famiglietti of Health. Famiglietti names Denver as the most responsive city to Health’s 2009 touring. Here is the interview:
1. What are your favorite albums of 2009?
Pictureplane – Dark Rift, R. Kelly – The “Demo” Tape, Animal Collective – Merriweather…, Dirty Projectors – Bitte Orca, D-Lo – The Tonite Show…
2. Which city was most responsive to HEALTH’s 2009 journey?
Denver? I’d say the majority of the US/Europe. This was a very fun year to tour and a really special year for us in terms of live response.
3. What’s in store for HEALTH in 2010?
New fashion, more tours, a new music video. More content all around.
4. Has there been any consideration given to another remix LP?
It’s all I’m working on at the moment. DISCO2 is coming in early 2010.
5. What’s your biggest guilty pleasure?
The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart.
6. Are there any LA based acts that we should keep an ear out for?
Yes.
7. Do you have a New Year’s resolution? If so, what would it be?
To use my rowing machine more.
8. Are there any misconceptions that you’d like to clear up?
Absolutely not.
